ABOUT

POWERCROSS was founded in Athens in December 2022 by two friends, Spiros Rizos and Chris Stergianidis, to create power metal with loads of riffs and guitar harmonies. When Chris left the band for personal reasons, Spiros took over the band leadership, writing all compositions and orchestration as the sole guitar player. The first full-length, The Lost Empire, came out in 2024, followed a year later by Renaissance.

For the third album POWERCROSS present a new singer, Veandok, a semi-tenor with an amazing timbre.

Line-up: Spiros Rizos (all guitars) · Veandok (vocals) · Panos Boutidis (bass) · Foivos Andriopoulos (drums)

Discography: The Lost Empire (2024) · Renaissance (2025) · Echoes Of Elysium / Part I (2027)

Echoes Of Elysium / Part I, the third full-length album, out January 16, 2027 via Elevate Records. The opening track, “Sign of the Cross”, premieres with a lyric video.

THE STORY: ECHOES OF ELYSIUM / PART I

Echoes Of Elysium / Part I brings powerful tracks, some of them more mid-tempo. The album depicts the thoughts of a psychotic individual who has created a world of his own, a world portrayed across every track from the opener “Sign of the Cross” to the closer “Echoes of Time”. The “Part I” hints that a second part may follow.

Tracklist: 1. Sign of the Cross · 2. King of South · 3. Tears of Belief · 4. The Holy Grail · 5. Dragon Slayer · 6. Eternal Light · 7. Intermission in Time · 8. Echoes of Time

Press release via Sure Shot Worx for Elevate Records. Recording, production, mastering and artwork by Spiros Rizos.
